Originally I come from Italy but I was working in Germany for the last 7 years. I lived and worked also in Switzerland and the UK. My background is mainly in the hospitality industry, but I was also organizing events of all kinds for different companies and projects. I got stuck in Vietnam whilst on a month’s holiday on my way to work in Australia back in 2006. I worked in the Buffalo Hanoi office as Sales Manager for over 2 years before moving to Thailand to set up Buffalo Tours Thailand. I loved living in Vietnam and am also enjoying Bangkok. I do however miss my yellow motobike, Mellow Yellow, which is currently still in Hanoi. One day I would love to drive her from Hanoi across northern Laos and Thailand to Bangkok.

I started my journey with Buffalo Tours in 2004. After 5 years in Vietnam (in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City), I moved on to Cambodia for a new challenge. I now enjoy the quiet and spiritual atmosphere of the country, the kindness of the people, the French touch (a taste of home), dirt roads leading to local villages as well as the beauty of the cultural heritage! Indochina has endless highlights, flavors, colors, smells, sceneries to taste… this is only the start of my journey!

I have been working with Buffalo Tours since 2005, after spending a couple of years in Hanoi, I moved back to Australia to set up a sales office here. After travelling extensively through the region, I enjoy passing on the benefit of my experience to our wholesale partners. Its been very inspiring seeing the company grow over the years and working with such passionate people.

I graduated as a doctor in 1995 but left this behind to start Buffalo Tours, having run local tours for travelers to fund my way through med school. With the rapid growth of Buffalo Tours, it is vitally important for us to promote local empowerment and sustainable development. When I do get out of the office I love adventure travel, particularly trekking. I have climbed Vietnam’s highest peak several times and now have my sights set on Mount Everest!
We also have over 200 people working in the field, including drivers, guides, cooks, porters and boat crews. We use only local tour guides and leaders, who are university-educated and equipped with unbeatable experience to look after and introduce you to local cultures with sensitivity. All our guides are trained in first aid by International SOS and carry a complete first aid kit, for your peace of mind.
