Discover a different side of the capital with this fun cycling adventure to a less visited area of the city. Spend a relaxing half-day outside of Phnom Penh, cycling on Silk Island. Cross the Tonle Sap River and cycle along the bank past Cham communities, and catch a ferry to the island of Koh Oknyahtei for a gentle ride. The island has fertile farmland and small village communities. You will stop near a school to learn about the country’s educational system, visit a typical modern Khmer Wat and a silk weaving house to see how the beautiful silk scarves are produced. Continue along small trails and enjoy a picnic lunch before returning by a different route to the capital.
