The restaurants and lounges are open and airy with polished timber or natural stone floors that offset the cool natural fabrics and cane furnishings. Vietnamese artifacts and furniture enhance the colonial setting to create the resort’s distinctive Asian character.
Café Indochine: This is the Furama’s signature restaurant, an Asian-style brassiere recalling the nostalgia of the French colonial period with its rattan furniture, ceiling fans, French windows and old photographs and memorabilia on the walls. By day, it is a bright, cheerful place for light snacks, while at night it turns more romantic. Guests can savour a wide range of international and pan-Asian cuisines served by waitresses in traditional ao dai outfits. There is an exotic menu of Vietnamese, Chinese, Malay, Thai, Indian and Indonesian favourites prepared in the open show kitchens or over the barbecue. Capacity: 140-seat restaurant. Hai Van Lounge: Guests enjoy cocktails and light snacks in a very relaxed colonial setting decorated with cane chairs and carved Vietnamese furniture. Lagoon Bar: Located beside the Lagoon Pool, The Lagoon Bar is a lush, tropical oasis for colourful cocktails, long drinks and light snacks. Open: daily from 08:00 am to 07:00 pm.
Ocean Terace Bar: The open bar, sets in a beautiful ocean front setting, serves a wide variety of refreshing drinks, cocktails and alcoholic treats. Open: daily from 6:30am to 11:00pm.
Ocean Terace: Overlooking the white sands of China Beach, this casual restaurant provides a peaceful, poolside setting for al fresco dining. A Mediterranean-inspired menu offers garden fresh salads, Italian appetisers, delicious pastas, and crisp pizzas and Italian breads baked in wood-fired ovens. A fine selection of Italian wines and Grappas are also available. Capacity: The 80-seat restaurant. Open: from 6:30 am to 11 pm.
Meetings and banquets:
Da Nang Grand Ball room features the largest and most advanced international convention centre in the Central Vietnam. At full capacity the Grand Ballroom houses 800 delegates for meetings and 600 for banquets.
The Gallery Rooms can accommodate receptions of up to 120 people, with table set-up dining for up to 80 people and meetings for up to 100 people. The meeting room is full of natural light when the doors open to the terrace viewing the resort’s lagoon.
The Ocean Room is located on the upper level of the main pavilion. It can accommodate receptions of up to 450 people, with table set-up dining for up to 250 people and seminars for up to 220 people.
Business center: To keep in close touch with your business, The Business Centre offers the latest communications facilities as well as work stations, desktop computers and printers, a small private meeting room and a full range of business and secretarial services. High-speed internet acess is available from 6 am to 9:30 pm.
Entertainment Activities:
Water Sports: Full range of Water Sports will keep you busy. Stop by the Water Sport House where our experienced staff are waiting to assist or train you in the use of any of our equipment. Catamaran Sailing, Windsurfing, Ocean Kayaking, Body Boarding, Aqua Cycling, Water Skiing, Jet Ski, Wake Boarding, Banana and other tow-able items are all available for rental.
Tai Chi: While at the beach don’t miss out on our daily Tai Chi Lesson or the numerous other activities that change with each day of your visit; Yoga Lessons, Organized Volleyball, Football and Badminton Competitions.
Golf and tennis, volley ball: Located in the Gardens of our West Wing the Tennis Court Clubhouse is open daily from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. With two Floodlit Tennis Courts, artificial turf courts, racket rental, professional instructors, a Golf Driving Range, Table Tennis and PlayStation 2 video games. The Clubhouse is the place to learn something new or keep your swing or serve in shape.
The joy Paradise Club: Located on a square of 1,200 meters, Furama’s Joy Paradise Club is the first only gaming centre in central Vietnam. The Joy Paradise Club offers affordable facilities, including 40 slot machines, 01 Karaoke lounge, 3 KTV rooms, one roulette, a cigar bar and a night club. Our KTV will open for Vietnamese and foreigners of all ages and the gaming center’s entry is for guests above 18 years old. The Joy Paradise Club opens from 11 a.m to 2 a.m daily.
