Opened in December 2003, the Sofitel VinPearl Resort is one of the newer entrants to Vietnam’s top beach resorts, and at 57, 000sq.m and 500 rooms, it is Viet Nam’s largest tourism resort.

The Sofitel VinPearl Resort is situated facing the sea on a private bay below the hills on Hon Tre island, famous for its crystal white beaches and surrounding mountain valleys sloping like birds’ wings, just off the beach resort area of Nha Trang.  Nha Trang Bay was one of 29 places recognized by the World's Most Beautiful Bays.

The Sofitel VinPearl Resort is located on a private bay on Hon Tre Island, just off the coast of Nha Trang. Guests are transported to the resort by a 10-minute boat or hovercraft-ride from the resort’s private jetty in Nha Trang. Guests are then brought up the crest of a hill by a Hawaiian tramcar, where they can confront the scale of the resort, before descending to their grand hideaway.

The Beachcomber Bar & Restaurant - With indoor and outdoor dining areas, the Beachcomber Bar & Restaurtant is located on the beachfront and features popular snacks, light meals, ice cream, pastries and cakes, as well as espresso and a colorful array of refreshing drinks and cocktails.
Sea View Lounge - Located in the lobby, the Sea View Lounge offers a selection of drinks, cocktails, wines, and light snacks. Live music is customarily available in the evening.
The Magic Club -The Resort’s Entertainment Lounge with live band, dancing, shows and private Karaoke rooms

Meeting & Event Facilities – The Vinapearl offers the Grand Ballroom, an ideal venue for conferences, meetings, banquets and exhibitions for up to 1000 guests, offering full business, audio-visual and tele-communications support. It is the largest facility of its kind available in central Vietnam The Ballroom is located in a separate building adjacent to luxuriant gardens, with a large outdoor pre-function and cocktail area.
