Summary
Two days on the complex maze of the Mekong Delta is hardly enough for some people, but this tour will give you a taste of life on the Mekong River and its tributaries. The tour starts in Ho Chi Minh City and from there we travel to Cai Be. Here we board our boat and cruise down into the heart of the Delta, viewing life as the local population does. Gliding on the bustling waterways we shop at floating markets, eat tropical fruits in lush orchards, look into the art of Bonsai and have tea in a typical boathouse.

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City - Vinh Long - Can Tho Our tour starts with a drive through the Mekong Delta to Cai Be floating market; from here we board our river boats for a cruise along the endless waterways of the mighty Mekong. One of our stops will be to a small restaurant serving the local delicacies on the river. After having lunch, we bid farewell to our hosts we will cruise to visit Bonsai Garden and the handicraft village to see how bricks and pottery items are made. The visit also allows you to discover how candy and pop rice are made. Upon arrival in Vinh Long Town we meet again with our car and then drive to the city of Can Tho, which is considered to be the heart of the Mekong Delta. We will spend the night at the hotel of your choice (L) Day 2 Can Tho - Ho Chi Minh City We start early in the morning with the visit to Cai Rang Floating market, which is the largest floating market in the lower Mekong. You will have a chance to shop in the market and taste tropical fruit After the boat trip, we go back to Ho Chi Minh. If time permission we can stop to visit Dong Tam snake farm or Vinh Trang pagoda on the way back. Arrive in Ho Chi Minh at approximately 05:00 pm. Tour ends. (B,L)
