Michele is the manager of our Group Reservations & MICE Department and has over 12 years MICE experience, including 8 years in Australia, 1 year in the USA and 3 years in Vietnam. From large association conferences up to 3000 people to small incentive groups of 15 people, Michele knows the MICE industry inside and out!

I moved from Australia to Vietnam over 2 years ago, after visiting Vietnam on a 2 week holiday. I love the lifestyle and people here in Hanoi, and especially the food. Luckily there is a fantastic variety of fresh foods available 24 hrs a day in Vietnam as I am a not a good cook.

I am from Brisbane, Australia, was born in Papua New Guinea, spent the last 4 years as a Sydney ‘Bondi Chick’, and have also lived in California, Canada, New Zealand and the UK. After hitting an ‘early 30’s crisis’ (!) I decided to start a new adventure, and after a three day love affair with Cambodia in January 2007, I decided to make Asia my new home. I have been in Hanoi since September 2007 and love it here! I have a personal tailor who has tripled my wardrobe, and like Arabella, I too like to ride my trusty motorbike around town!

People often call me Fis as this is my nickname. I am very keen about marketing and traveling, so Buffalo Tours is perfect for me! Since becoming part of the MICE team I have found my absolute passion. In my leisure time I enjoy music, movies and hanging out with my friends around my little Hanoi. A few words cannot describe my love for Hanoi, as it is where I was born, grew up and belong. Living is sharing so we would lilke to inspire you to enjoy our incentive tours in heavenly Indochina.

Originally I come from Italy but I was working in Germany for the last 7 years. I lived and worked also in Switzerland and the UK. My background is mainly in the hospitality industry, but I was also organizing events of all kinds for different companies and projects. To make the customer happy in providing a good and professional service is my first priority. I’ve been in Vietnam since March 2008 and I love my new home: the country is so beautiful, people are very friendly and the food is a temptation!

I graduated as a doctor in 1995 but left this behind to start Buffalo Tours, having run local tours for travelers to fund my way through med school. With the rapid growth of Buffalo Tours, it is vitally important for us to promote local empowerment and sustainable development. When I do get out of the office I love adventure travel, particularly trekking. I have climbed Vietnam’s highest peak several times and now have my sights set on Mount Everest!
