ITINERARY BY DAY
Discover the natural wonders of Sabah on this adventurous half-day tour, ideal for wildlife enthusiasts. At around 1pm, embark on a 2-hour overland journey to Beaufort, located on the Southern tip of Sabah. Make a pit stop at Garama River Lodge and enjoy serene views of the nearby mangroves and surrounding countryside.
From there, weave your way through Sabah's lush countryside and pass through secluded beaches, paddy fields and mangrove forests before arriving at our destination. Enjoy an afternoon tea of light refreshments and cakes while learning the history of the area from your local guide.
At around 4pm, begin a cruise downstream in search of wildlife, including the rare Proboscis monkey, local macaques, the rare silver-haired langur, or the Crested Serpent Eagle.
In the evening, enjoy a tasty dinner served down by the riverbank. Afterwards, catch a glimpse of fireflies congregating in nearby mangroves, transforming them into beautifully lit Christmas trees. Return to Kota Kinabalu.
