TOUR MAP
ITINERARY BY DAY

Day 1: Kuala Lumpur
Arrive in Kuala Lumpur and meet with your guide before making your way to your hotel. Spend the afternoon strolling through the bustling streets of downtown Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s thriving capital city and home to the world’s tallest twin buildings, the Petronas Twin Towers.

In the evening, head to an authentic Malay restaurant for a night of culture and culinary immersion. Enjoy a dazzling display of traditional and contemporary Malaysian dance performances while feasting on a huge spread of Malay favourites, including chicken rendang curry, wok-fried mussels in kamheong style, Malaysian roasted lamb and spicy sambal prawns. Spend the night in Kuala Lumpur.

Day 2: Kuala Lumpur
After breakfast, embark on a full day walking Kuala Lumpur’s heritage trail loaded with exotic architecture, exciting landmarks and rich blend of cultures.

Start at Independence Square, where colonial rule ended with the lowering of the Union Jack and the flag of an independent Malaysia was first hoisted in 1957. Head across the road for a look through the majestic Sultan Abdul Samad Building, once the headquarters for British colonial administrators. Afterwards, make your way to Kuala Lumpur’s most exciting landmarks, including the Old High Court, Jamek Mosque and Sri Mahamariaman Hindu Temple. Then, enliven the senses with a stroll through the aromatic streets of Little India and Chinatown before stopping for an authentic lunch at the Central Market, originally built as a wet market by the British.

In the afternoon, savour a glass of refreshing teh tarik, a traditional milk tea specially poured from at a height and today considered Malaysia’s national drink.

Take the afternoon off to explore downtown Kuala Lumpur before spending the night at your hotel.

Day 3: Malacca
In the morning, journey to the nearby state of Malacca, Malaysia’s “historic state” and one of the country’s richest cultural melting pots. Home to a vast array of Portuguese architecture, the town is also home to descendants of Chinese settlers that have over generations influenced local cuisine, known as “Nyonya”.

Pay a visit to St. Peter’s Church, dating back to the 17th century, before heading to the famous Port De Santiago, built by the Portuguese and some of the oldest surviving European relics in the whole of Asia. Wander through the ruins of nearby St. Paul’s Church, lined with 17th-century tombstones, before exploring pink administrative buildings built by the Dutch and now home to the Malacca Museum.

Later, pay a visit to Christchurch before settling down for lunch at an authentic Peranakan restaurant, famous for dishing up fusion Chinese, Malay and other cuisine. Afterwards, head over to Cheng Hoon Teng Temple, one of the only places where the three pillars of Chinese spirituality, Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism, can be found under one roof.

In the afternoon, take a stroll along Jonker Street to the majestic riverbanks of Malacca before enjoying a relaxing boat tour around this charming UNESCO listed city. Disembark at Casa Del Rio for an evening of leisure.

Day 4: Malacca
After breakfast, make your way south to Malaysia’s border with Singapore on the Johor Causeway. Arrive at the immigration checkpoint.
