ITINERARY BY DAY
Day 1: UBUD
Arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar and meet with our friendly airport representative before making your way to your hotel in Ubud. Spend the rest of the day at your own leisure, with the option to explore the surrounding streets of Ubud or simply relax at your hotel.
Day 2: UBUD
After breakfast, meet with your guide to determine your schedule for the week’s yoga classes. Then, take part in your first class and learn the basics of yoga – an ancient physical, mental, and spiritual practice that can transform the body and strengthen mental discipline.
After your class, enjoy a 60 minute traditional Balinese massage, before heading back to your accommodation.
Day 3: UBUD
In the morning, set off on a relaxed 1 hour trek to Sebatu, a small village located in the heart of rice paddies and sprawling river valleys. Here, visit the Sebatu Holy Waters, a sacred Sebatu Temple where you can hear nothing but your thoughts as you try and find your spiritual centre. Then, take a stroll around the exquisite courtyard and its pure natural springs before heading back to your hotel.
Day 4: UBUD
Make an early start for a cooking class at Kayun Restaurant in the village of Mas. Here, start by heading over to the local market and with help from professional chefs, handpick your ingredients for the class.
Back at the kitchen, learn the basic tips and tricks of traditional Balinese cooking before being shown how to light a wood-fire stove. Then, try your hand at crafting these specialties from scratch as you prepare a delicious feast made up of traditional Indonesian flavours.
After lunch, join in on preparing an offering in the traditional “Balinese Canang” (offering) style, found all over Indonesia and used as a symbol of appreciation to the gods.
Afterwards, make your way to the airport for your return flight home.
