Day 1: Hanoi – Cuc Phuong
From Hanoi, we drive to Cuc Phuong National Park. Once we have settled into our rooms we will visit the Endangered Primate Rescue center and learn a little of the work that is being done to preserve the endangered native primates.
Day 2: Cuc Phuong National Park
Rising this morning with the sounds of the forest all around us, we commence a whole day trek that will take us through the lush rainforest, past centuries old trees and to caves once inhabited by prehistoric humans. Returning to our accommodation in the heart of the forest we will spend a second evening drifting off to sleep to the sounds of the nocturnal activity outside.
Day 3: Hoa Lu - Hanoi
Departing Cuc Phuong this morning we trek to Cay Sau before making our way back to Tam Coc where we enjoy 2 hour boat trip being rowed along the Boi River. This makes for a truly unforgettable experience, passing between towering limestone peaks. Following the boat trip we take our vehicle for a 2.5 hour journey back to Hanoi. (B/L)
