Thi Nghe Orphanage (Handicapped Orphan Protection Centre), is in Binh Thanh District, Saigon, and currently cares for 400 residential children and about 200 out-patients, the large majority of which are children with disabilities. Many of the children have some level of malnourishment before they are admitted to the orphanage. [more detail] |

The Dieu Giac Pagoda Orphanage is located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, where it shelters and cares for over 120 abandoned, orphaned or street children. They range from several months to 18 years of age and are of different ethnic groups and religious backgrounds. The Thuan An Centre is a boarding school for hearing impaired students aged from 5 to 20 with the capacity to house 320 boarding students. Hearing impaired people undergo many challenges and much suffering as a result of not being able to communicate their ideas and feelings with others, leaving them isolated and lonely.
