Day 1:  Arrive in Phuket
Arrive at Phuket International Airport and transfer to Kuraburi -a scenic journey of about three horus. Upon arrival, enjoy the rest of your time exploring the area at your leisure or rest up at your hotel for the coming day.

Day 2: Local Village Experience
Working alongside a local non-profit organisation that focuses on responsible tourism development and increasing environmental awareness through community tourism,  learn about Thai culture with a unique and unforgettable village-stay experience.

After receiving a cultural sensitivity briefing from your guide in the morning, head to the local village of Ban Talae Nok.

Visit the beach and site of the pre-tsunami village, one of the areas worst-affected by the Boxing Day Tsunami of 2004. After visiting a site that was drastically affected by the Boxing Day Tsunami of 2004, return to Ban Talae Nok for a walking tour of the village alongside your host family. Then, enjoy lunch with your host family in their home and learn about the art of Nipa palm weaving -a material made of fresh leaves used for a wide variety of purposes in the village. Try your hand at it or simply stand back and watch as villagers weave together.

Later in the afternoon, play a fun local game with your family called "Poor Little Turtle", a game involving an obstacle course that is meant to resemble the journey that newly-minted turtles make en-route to the sea. Afterwards,  Enjoy a few hours at the beach at your leisure. Relax and watch the sunset or join the locals in a game of beach football. In the evening return to your host family for a delicious communal dinner and tuck in for a night of restful sleep in your host family's home.

Day 3: Community Activities – Khao Lak
Wake up and enjoy breakfast with your host family. Spend the morning learning how to make soap with a local soap-making cooperative. Established after the tsunami, the group makes beautifully hand-crafted soap using natural ingredients from the local area. After trying your hand at making soaps, return to your homestay and pitch in with the preparation of traditional Thai dishes for lunch. Enjoy the fruits of your labour and then satisfy your sweet-tooth while learning how to make traditional Thai desserts.

After filling up on delicious food of your own creation,  pack your bags and say goodbye to your host family. After a debriefing session, head back to Kuraburi and spend the rest of the night at your leisure.

(Note that if you prefer to spend a few nights longer in the community, we can arrange this with more fun and educational activities).

Day 4: Kuraburi – Khao Sok
Early in the morning, enjoy a scenic ride to a tented camp site surrounded by the lush jungles of Khao Sok National Park for the start of a three day wildlife adventure.

After arriving, learn about the conservation of Asian elephants and the bond formed between them and mahouts -caregivers who often create life-long bonds with their elephants.

Get hands-on experience interacting with elephants as a mahout guides you through the daily rituals involved with their care. Learn how to prepare an elephant's meal and feed them, then scrub, clean and wash an elephant as it bathes.

After an unforgettable close-encounter with Asian elephants, return to the camp for a sumptuous lunch buffet. Then, enjoy a peaceful canoe trip down the Sok River. Keep your eyes peeled for exotic wildlife along the river banks as you drift past limestone mountains and cliffs covered with tropical vegetation.

Return to the camp just in time to experience a magical transition as day turns to night and the jungle's nocturnal inhabitants come to life with a symphony of sound. Then enjoy a sumptuous dinner to the soundtrack of nature. After filling up, relax in a luxurious safari tent, equipped with creature comforts such as a comfortable bed, reading lights, hot water and more, before tucking in for a night of restful sleep under the stars.

Day 5: Boat trip in Khao Sok National Park
As the sun crests over Elephant Hill, wake up to the sounds of nature. Get the day started with a hearty breakfast. Then, board a traditional longtail boat for a scenic cruise around Khao Sok Lake. With a landscape  often compared to Vietnam's Halong Bay and China's Guilin, the dramatic karst formations and lush vegetation surrounding Khao Sok Lake are perhaps more beautiful than either.

While touring around the lake, be sure to watch out for troops of monkeys, wild elephants and soaring hornbills, all of which can be easily seen from your boat with a keen eye. Enjoy lunch in the scenic surroundings of the lake before heading back to camp for another restful evening in the jungle. After dinner, tuck in to your luxurious tent and be lulled to sleep by the chorus of nature.

Day 6: Jungle Walk – Krabi
Wake up to a wholesome breakfast before the start of an adventurous day of trekking in the rainforest. Following the lead of your guide, discover the rich biological diversity of one of Thailand's most pristine ecosystems. While hiking through the jungle, cross through fresh mountain streams, relax in the shady mist of a waterfall and spot countless creatures. Along the way, learn about rainforest ecology and species unique to the area before enjoying a unique lunch cooked in bamboo -a traditional method of cooking used by jungle-dwelling people of this area.

After your hike, head back to camp and freshen up before being transferred to Krabi.

Day 7: Krabi
Enjoy a day of relaxation and recovery on the beach or explore Krabi Town.

Day 8: Andaman Islands Boat Trip
After breakfast, join a group tour for a cruise on the Andaman Sea while visiting some of Krabi's most spectacular islands.

Revel in the spectacular natural beauty of Phra Nang Cave Beach on a remote peninsula blocked off from the outside world by a wall of towering karst formations.

Then, enjoy the sublime tropical beauty of Koh Tub, which is famous for the strip of sand that connects it to Chicken Island during low tide. After snapping some amazing photos of this amazing setting, head to one of Krabi's star attractions, Koh Poda.

At Koh Poda, don your mask and snorkel and enjoy the clear waters and abundant corals surrounding the island or catch some sun while lounging on some of  its bleach-white sands. After enjoying lunch on the beach, head back to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 9 – 11: Krabi
The next three days can be spent as you wish. Be sure to spend some time exploring the area. There are almost endless natural attractions to be seen ranging from natural hot springs surrounded by jungle at Namtok Ron to the spectacular cultural attraction of Tiger Cave Temple -a temple set high in the cliffs surrounding Krabi Town - and the gorgeous Railay Bay.
