Established in 2006, the farm is intended to assist in the conservation of Lao biodiversity while at the same time stimulating economic and social development. At the farm in Vientiane, you can view more than 2,000 plants, including 300 different orchid species. One aim of the project is to grow, market and export Lao orchids legally. A visit to the farm is not only pleasant, but also assists in the fight against the illegal orchid trade.
