A two-day tour of the main highlights surrounding Siem Reap, including Angkor Wat and surrounding temples and ruins, such as the ancient city of Angkor Thom and Ta Prohm temple. Witness a beautiful sunrise over a 'Royal Pond' and discover some of the finest examples of classical Khmer art at the exquisite Banteay Srey or 'Citadel of the Woman'.

Day 1:  Angkor National Museum and Angkor Wat
Begin your day visiting the Angkor National Museum where numerous artifacts and multimedia presentations will give you an understanding of Angkorian history and culture. Then continue to Ta Prohm Temple, made famous by the movie Tomb Raider. Afterwards, enjoy a relaxed lunch in Siem Reap before heading to the famous Angkor Wat – best preserved of all the Angkor temples. Time is allowed for a thorough exploration before heading back to the hotel.

Day 2:  Angkor Thom and Banteay Srey
Rise early to witness a beautiful sunrise over Sra Srang Royal Pond. After breakfast, you are transferred to South Gate of Angkor Thom, explore the centerpiece of this ancient city, the Bayon. The Bayon holds 54 towers decorated with more than 200 enigmatically smiling stone faces. The morning tour also visits the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Terrace of Elephants and Terrace of Leper Kings. After lunch you will explore the exquisite Banteay Srey, “Citadel of the Woman”, home to some of the finest examples of classical Khmer art, followed by a tour of Banteay Samre.

Customer Feedback

Hello Buffalo
i've recently returned from a tour of both Vietnam and Cambodia included a tour of Ankor wat and Phnom Penh. It was a wonderful trip and I want to congratulate you on the organisation and skills of the tour guides. I was not as well prepared for Cambodia as I like to be, however the guide was very informative and I learned much about the history and culture as appropriate to the visits we made. I must congratulate you on the quality of person and their knowledge for this tour of Cambodia.
many thanks for a memorable trip.
yours kindly
