Arrive at the airport and meet your guide, who will transfer you to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day as you please.

Today, start your journey around the city of Jogjakarta. Head off first toward the Sultan Palace (Kraton), a magnificent structure built in the 17th Century and carefully planned to reflect the Javanese cosmos.

Next, explore even more of the built legacy of the Javanese monarchy with a visit to the Water Castle, a beautiful garden constructed originally as a royal park. Then, head on to the nearby Bird Market – with thousands of locals selling exotic birds and sometimes reptiles - for a taste of authentic Javanese culture.

Afterwards, venture to the Kotagede neighbourhood famous for its silver smiths. Stroll past traditional Batik homes before heading to the Borobudur Temple, a world heritage building constructed during the 8th Century and a beautiful example of traditional Mahayana Buddhist architecture. Finally, make your way to the Prambanan Temple, arguably one of Java’s most astounding Hindu shrine and often considered one of the most beautiful in the world! After your adventure, head back to your hotel for the night.

Start your day early with a scenic drive to East Java by Express Train to Mojokerto. Along the way, keep a look out for beautiful scenery and picturesque Java landscapes. Arrive in Mojokerto and swap to the final leg of your journey to Bromo, where you’ll have a chance to stretch your legs and tuck in for the night.

Rise before the sun and begin your day of exploration around Bromo’s beautiful scenery. Start off with a transfer by jeep and then by horseback toward Mount Bromo, crossing a sea of sand along the way. Head uphill toward the top of the mountain just in time for a spectacular sunrise at the crest of the Bromo volcano, and take in arresting panoramic views from the top of the 2,000 meter summit. After plenty of time to snap photos and enjoy the scenery, head back downhill and to your hotel. Catch your breath and stretch your legs before departing again, this time along the Java Ocean coastline past the fishing village of Pasir Putih and bound for Ijen. On arrival, relax in your hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening as you please.

Wake early for a journey to nearby Paltuding, the gateway to the incredible summit of Mount Ijen. Along the way, pass through rural villages and coffee plantations before your vehicle is engulfed by Java’s dense rainforest. On arrival at the final parking area, disembark your vehicle and continue your journey by foot into the jungle. Brave your climb up the Ijen plateau and along hilly landscapes before arriving at the Ijen crater’s edge, at about 2883 meters above sea level. Enjoy stunning views from here and perhaps catch a glimpse of the sulphur lake below before getting a hands-on look at the local sulphur mining activities that are common here.

Head back to the ranger’s post and start your drive to Ketapang. On arrival, hop on board a ferry and chug across the Bali Strait toward Gilimanuk to meet your new guide. Finally, depart from Gilimanuk to Lovina and spend the rest of your evening at leisure.

This morning, depart from Lovina and head toward South Bali through the centre of the island. Along the way, take a break from the drive to hike down a steep decline toward the stunning Git Git Waterfall. Sit back and relax at the fall’s base before heading to the nearby Goddess of the Lake Temple, also called the Ulun Danu. Nestled right along the water’s edge, wander through this stunning temple and enjoy beautiful views of Ulun Danu Lake before continuing on to a local restaurant for lunch. After regaining your energy, wander through a local market in nearby Candi Kuning and grab some local produce for the drive back to South Bali.

On your final day, spend the day at your own leisure exploring the surrounding streets.
