  • Porjai Chaiwongyart (Nuk)
Porjai Chaiwongyart (Nuk) Chiang Mai Manager

Nuk is a Chiang Mai native, born, raised and, since 1998, working in tourism here. Her first name “Porjai” in Thai means "full heart" as her parents were so proud at her birth. That is why she is always puts her full heart into every aspect of her life, especially the ETA community development projects helping the eduction and development of Chiang Mai's ethnic communities.

  • Graham Harper
    Graham Harper ETA Manager

After 12 years teaching, a Masters degree in Environmental and Development Education, another 9 years establishing training programmes & project on development and poverty alleviation in the Mekong River region, I joined Buffalo Tours in 2009. These varied experiences have helped our team develop unique educational travel to create a win for all involved. Our incredible team has to work hard, with a bit of sacrifice, but it's all worth it when we hear that what we do is "life changing".

  • Nguyen Song Tung
Nguyen Song Tung ETA Executive, Hanoi

Although I have been at Buffalo Tours for 6 years, I just moved to ETA in April 2013. This has been really interesting to try a different role with a more activities and challenges. We build up community projects in remote areas of Indochina and Thailand working with many international school groups. By this way, every one has a chance to open their minds and heart. Such a meaningful job which makes us all really proud.

  • Suphanee Suriya (Ning)
Suphanee Suriya (Ning) ETA Executive, Thailand

Ning is the back bone of ETA's operations & administration in Chiang Mai. Although rarely seen by the groups on the ground, if it were not for her work, nothing could be accomplished. That is why she believes that with her experience she can help ETA develop and follow her personal motto ; be energetic, be responsible, be honest.

  • Rungrada Pakda (Eve)
Rungrada Pakda (Eve) ETA Executive, Thailand

Eve is from a small village in Chiang Rai, Thailand. Always the top student in her school she was the only one to go on to high school and ultimately university. Perhaps coming from such a small village is why travelling is her passion and the reason she majored in Tourism Management. She is proud to use her experiences to support anyone who dreams to join the ETA team and positively impact her gracious country, Thailand.

  • Suy Vet
    Suy Vet ETA Executive, Cambodia

I was born in a very remote village in the eastern part of Siem Reap. My village was very poor in terms of infrastructure, school, irrigation and still does not have electricity. By studying hard at a local high school allowed the chance to move to Siem Reap to continue my study. I now very much enjoy working at Buffalo Tours and ETA. This allows me the chance to give back and empower my community. Smiling, sportive and friendliness, it is my culture, and I am grateful to welcome and show you around my lovely country.

  • Chipseng Thor
    Chipseng Thor ETA Executive, Laos

I love my home town. It is stocked full of culture, ethnic minorities, and a green natural environment. My early life was in an isolated highland community with no electricity and running water. Moving to the city for school opened my eyes to see the world and dream of how I can help my community. That is why I took the step to join ETA team 7 years ago. Since then, with each group that join us and each project accomplished, my dream is sustained.

  • Doan Thi Lan Phuong
Doan Thi Lan Phuong ETA Team Leader, Hanoi

Fascinated by the mysticism of Southeast Asia, I joined Buffalo Tours in 2008. My first trip was to a small H’mong ethnic village in Mai Chau. That was absolutely an eye-opener for me. That village was just 5 hours drive from bustling Hanoi, but the living conditions of the local people is a hugely different. Being touched by the experience and wanting to share that with the world was why I feel so lucky to join the Educational Travel Team. I can say I now know every corner of Mai Chau but still the beautiful people here always inspire me.
