Location: Thung Si Mueang, Mueang District, Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand

This year, the province of Ubon Ratchathani in northeastern Thailand, will organize its annual Candle Festival from 11-21 July. The festival marks the beginning of Buddhist Lent and shows the local people’s devotion to Buddhist traditions as well as allows them to showcase their renowned candle-carving skills. The highlight of the much-anticipated events is the parade of beautifully-carved candles and floral floats which takes place on the day of Khao Phansa Day, the starting date for lent when the Monks take to their temples for the rainy season.

Seven-time GRAMMY winner Taylor Swift will come to Asia this summer and Bangkok, Thailand is one of her destinations in RED Tour. Several songs from record-breaking RED album as well as new takes on other fan favorites will be performed on the stage of Impact Arena.



Boun Bang Fai (Rocket Festival) 2014

Location: Vientiane, Laos

Boun Bang Fai (Rocket Festival) is an annual event in northeastern Thailand and Laos to celebrate the beginning of the rainy season. This festival is considered the widest event in Laos and Thailand with music, dance, folk theatre, procession and general merrymaking. On the third and final day of the festival, local people will gather in fields to launch their rockets into the sky in a belief to kick-start the rainy season and bring water to the fields. There are many places in Thailand and Laos organizing Boun Bang Fai, however Vientiane in Laos is a good destination to enjoy this traditional festival.

Location: Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center, 799 Nguyen Van Linh Boulevard District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Future Now Music Festival will be held next month in Saigon with the participation of Afrojack  – the Grammy Award-winning, DJ ranked No.09 in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs as well as the comeback of Far East Movement – an American hip hop band. This is the first time Future Now Music being organized in Vietnam with an international standard, is promised to bring an vibrant and dynamic night to music lovers. Additionally, this year, music is also performed by many famous DJs in Vietnam such as Mike Hao, Duy Duy, Brian Vo, Looze Khuong, Slim V & Nimbia as well as the Vietnamese dance – pop queen Thu Minh.


International Grapes and Wine Festival 2014 in Ninh Thuan

Location: Ninh Thuan Province, Vietnam

This year, International Grapes and Wine Festival 2014 in Ninh Thuan will take place in the middle of July under the theme “Wine and Grape – Attractive tourism product”. Grapes and grape fruit product of Vietnam and other countries (France, Chile, Germany, Australia) will be introduced during this festival. And International Grapes and Wine Festival 2014 will also bring to you many cultural activities such as: exhibition of grape wine and grape fruit products, workshop with the theme “Ninh Thuan grape – Gem in stone”, art performance and firework show in opening and closing day.
