Sanur Sunrise Cycling

DAY 1 - Sanur Sunrise Cycling

Start your adventure before the sun rises at the Buffalo Tours office, and suit up for your cycling journey ahead. Set off and pedal toward the beach, the very best place to watch the sun rise over the horizon in this famously beautiful beachside town. Afterwards, hop back on your bike and head toward Sindhu morning market, a bustling beachside hub for locals stocking up on their morning groceries and ingredients. Here, take a break from the bicycle seat and try some chocolate pancake with fried banana or yellow rice - a much-loved local treat.

Then, head onward to the Mertasari temple, and see how pious Balinese make offerings to the gods. If you're up for it, follow the lead of your guide to make an offering yourself, using the treats and trinkets brought along from the market. Afterwards, cycle to your final stop - a small gazebo perched on the edges of the beach. Rest your legs and enjoy some nasi bunkus, a traditional meal of rice and meat packaged in brown paper. From here, head back to the Buffalo Tours office before wrapping up your tour.
