DAY 1 - Ubud

Welcome to Bali – the Island of the Gods! Upon arrival, transfer to Ubud and check into the hotel. Nestled amidst lush rainforest and terraced rice paddies, the town is considered the cultural heart of the tropical island. Spend the rest of the day acclimatising, exploring the laid-back town independently or join an optional walking tour, leading from a traditional art market to the Ubud Palace and ending with a sunset drink, overlooking the Camphuan River at Café Pomegranate.

DAY 2 - Ubud

Start the first full day on this tropical island with a morning cycling tour. With stunning views of Mount Batur – the island’s dominant volcano – in the background, race through lush valleys and rice terraces, pedal past traditional villages and ancient temples, and hear about Balinese history and culture along the way. After 26-kilometres, end the journey at Koko Bambu Restaurant and dig into a well-deserved lunch.

With renewed energy, continue to the next adventure – a thrilling afternoon of white-water rafting. Hop aboard an assigned raft and embark on a wild ten-kilometre ride along the Ayung River. Together with a professionally-trained guide, navigate through 33 rapids and enjoy the wonderful backdrop of untouched forest, towering gorges and magical rice fields.

Unwind with a hot shower and end the day with a gourmet buffet feast, overlooking majestic mountains and lush green landscapes.

DAY 3 - Ubud

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at the hotel and spend the last day in this magical town at leisure.

Alternatively, pick one of four optional activities - join a morning yoga class; experience Shamanic Sound Healing, a transformational journey that removes energetic blockages from the soul; indulge in a traditional Balinese massage; or meet a team of female chefs and learn about the healing qualities of raw food.

DAY 4 - Tabanan Regency

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and leave Ubud for a taste of the real Bali at secluded Tabanan Regency. Situated towards the western part of the island, this area is one of Bali’s best nature destination thanks to its magnificent emerald green rice terraces, quiet volcanic black sand beaches and authentic cultural scene. Check in at Rumah Desa Homestay and spend an engaging afternoon delving deeper into the local culture; from making Balinese cake to planting new paddies and ploughing the rice fields with cows. After this insightful afternoon, refresh with a well-deserved shower and get ready for an evening of culture, music, and dance followed by a sumptuous dinner.

DAY 5 - Tabanan Regency – Canggu

Wake up early and, after breakfast, visit a local market. Browse through the colourful array of spices and fragrant herbs, picking up some fresh fruit and veg to take back to the hotel for a Balinese cooking class. Besides learning traditional recipes and preparing delicious dishes, this program is designed to convey the Balinese food philosophy which is closely tied to its culture and religion. With a belly full of tasty food and a thorough understanding of Balinese cooking traditions, check out of the hotel and travel to the laid-back Canggu area.

With plenty of hip cafes, restaurants and bars, spend the first evening touring some of Canggu’s coolest hangouts. Start the evening at The Slow restaurant, sampling some of the inventive cocktails and creative dishes. Next, get ready to rock n’ roll at one of the coastal town’s best live music venues, before ending the night in a chilled atmosphere at a beachfront beer garden. Kick back with a refreshing drink and enjoy music of the night’s live band or DJ.

DAY 6 - Canggu

After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a Bali Instagram tour and discover some of the most photogenic spots on the island with a professional photographer. First, travel to the iconic Uluwatu Temple. Perched on top of a steep cliff, this spectacular sight makes for a magnificent photo backdrop. Continue the journey to a hidden cliff location and set up a cosy picnic set. Get creative and capture the moment in front of the stunning azure-blue ocean views.

Next, stop for lunch at one of Bali’s hip beach clubs and use the gorgeous setting as an opportunity to take some cool swimsuit photos in the pools. The last location on this photogenic journey is the serene Padang Padang Beach. Use the ‘golden hour’ light to snap some dreamlike shots on the white-sanded beach and the crystal-clear waters before watching the sun disappear below the horizon.

DAY 7 - Canggu

Start the morning with a laid-back breakfast at the hotel and then enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 8 - Canggu

Check out from the hotel in Canggu and transfer directly to Bali Airport to embark a flight to an onward destination.
