ITINERARY

DAY 1

Discover Singapore’s Southern Islands

DAY 1 - Discover Singapore’s Southern Islands

Unknown to many, Singapore is not just one single island, but encompasses at total of 63 islands. Explore the city-state’s Southern Islands on this educational, half-day cruise, discovering a different side to Singapore.

Head to the Marina at Keppel Bay and board the luxurious Le Tara Yacht. As the boat leaves the marina, get comfortable aboard the elegant cruiser and take in the stunning views of the modern Singapore skyline.

Feel the salty ocean breeze and listen to the English-speaking guide tell interesting stories about the individual islets dotting the sea. Take in the magnificent views whilst sailing past a series of stunning islands, including Pulau Keppel, Pulau Bukom and the Sisters’ Islands Marine Park, Singapore’s first of this kind. The area encompassing the land and water surrounding the two isles are home to a variety of marine life and the nation’s first turtle hatchery.

Next, make a stop at Kusu Island. Also known as Turtle Island, disembark to explore its Chinese temple, attracting flocks of Chinese devotees during the ninth lunar month, before climbing to the top of a hill to visit the three Malay shrines.

Continue the cruise and on the way back to the marina, admire the panoramic views of some of Singapore’s most spectacular sites, including the Marina Bay Sands Hotel, the Art Science Museum and the Merlion, in the distance along the way.
