Tobacco and Salt Museum

“They go together like tobacco and salt”, said no one ever. Yet this small museum near Shibuya Station makes perfect sense when you learn that salt and tobacco were both state monopolies in Japan for hundreds of years. If you feel a bit thirsty after perusing the museum’s impressive collection of amazing salt and tobacco memorabilia, head next door for a refreshing drink at the conveniently located cafe.
